LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 82 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases in the country to  67, 412.  But out of the 67,412  all time cases, 63,055 patients have been treated successfully and  discharged, while  1,173  others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3184 active cases of Coronavirus, #Coronavirusnigeria.

Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-48,  Rivers-8, Kwara-6,  Yobe-6, Katsina-5, FCT-3,  Nasarawa-2,  Plateau-1, Ogun-1, Kano-1  and Osun-1, making a total of 82 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now  62, 586, 806 confirmed cases of #Coronavirus worldwide,  1, 457, 319 patients have passed on while 40,001, 637 others have recovered. There are now  21, 127, 850 active cases of #Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University,(JHU) Maryland has reported.

According to JHU, the United States remains the most affected country worldwide, reporting 13, 340, 663 all time cases of Coronavirus,  266, 594 patients have passed on while 5, 024, 365 others have been treated and discharged, leaving the USA with 8, 049, 704 active cases of Coronavirus(137, 445 new cases), followed by India, which has documented 9, 392, 919 confirmed cases,  136,696  patients are no more, while  8, 802, 267 others have been treated successfully and discharged, leaving India with 453, 956 active cases of Coronavirus(41, 810 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 6, 290,  272 all time infections,  172, 561 deaths and  5, 581, 436 recoveries, leaving Brazil with 536, 275 active cases of Coronavirus(51, 922 new cases).

France has assumed the 4th country worst hit with 2, 270, 573 confirmations, 52, 410 patients have lost their lives to the virus, while 167, 005 others have survived the pandemic, leaving France with 2, 051, 158 patience still sick and hoping for the  best of medical care to keep living(9, 784 new cases), followed by Russia which has reported 2, 249, 890 confirmations,  39, 127 deaths and 1, 746, 279 recoveries, leaving Russia with 464, 484 active cases of Coronavirus(26, 390 new cases) and Spain with 1, 628,208  all time infections,  44, 668 deaths and 150, 376 recoveries, leaving Spain with 1, 433, 164  active cases of Coronavirus.

The United Kingdom has come up as the 7th country worst hit, reporting  1, 621,305 confirmed cases, 58, 342 patients are already dead, while only 3, 514 patients have recovered and therefore discharged, leaving the UK with 1, 559, 449 patients still sick praying to survive the pandemic(12, 169 new cases), and  Italy which has documented 1, 585, 178 all time cases,  54, 904 deaths and 734, 503 recoveries, leaving Italy with 795, 771 active cases of Coronavirus(20, 646 new cases) and Argentina with 1, 413, 375 all time cases,  38, 322 patients have already died, while, 1, 242, 877 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving Argentina with 132, 176 active cases of Coronavirus(6, 118 new cases).

Colombia has become the 10th country worst hit with 1, 299, 613  all time infections,  36, 401 deaths and 1, 197,204 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 66,008 active cases of Coronavirus(9, 103 new cases), followed by South Africa  now the 16th country worst hit by Coronavirus, reporting 787, 702  confirmed cases,  21, 477 patients  have been killed by the pandemic, 730, 633 others have been treated and discharged, leaving South Africa with 35, 592 active cases of Coronavirus(2, 563 new cases).
