LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 147 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing all time cases in the country to 62,371.
But out of the 62,371 all time cases, 58,095 patients have been treated and discharged, while 1,139 others could not make it alive, leaving Nigeria with 3137 active cases of Coronavirus, #coronavirusngr.
Breakdown of the new cases is as follows, Lagos-82, FCT-20, Rivers-9, Kaduna-8,, Plateau-8, Benue-5, Edo-3, Kano-3, Nasarawa-3, Taraba-3, Ogun-2 and Bauchi-1, making a total of 147 new cases of Coronavirus.

There are now 44, 311,674 active cases of Coronavirus worldwide, 1, 171,286 deaths, while 29, 889, 942 patients have survived the pandemic. There are currently 13, 249, 446 active cases of Coronavirus globally, the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, Johns Hopkins University, Maryland has reported.

According to the centre, the United States remains the most affected, reporting 8, 836, 861 confirmed cases, 227, 409 deaths and 3, 487, 666 recoveries, leaving the United States with 5, 121, 786 active cases of Coronavirus(76, 922 new cases), followed by India which has documented 7,990,322 confirmations, 120, 010 deaths while 7, 259, 509 patients have been treated and discharged, leaving India with 610,803 active cases of the virus(43, 893 new cases) and Brazil which has reported 5, 439, 641 confirmed cases, 157, 946 deaths and 4, 914, 733 recoveries, leaving Brazil with 366,962 active cases of Coronavirus(29, 787 new cases).
Russia remains the 4th country worst hit by Coronavirus, reporting 1, 553,028 confirmations, 26, 752 patients are already dead, while 1, 164, 915 others have recovered from the ailment, leaving Russia with 361, 361 current cases of Coronavirus(15, 886 new cases), followed by France which has reported 1, 279,384 confirmed cases, 35, 820 patients have passed on while 118, 661 others have been treated and discharged, leaving France with 1, 124, 903 current cases of Coronavirus(36, 461 new cases) and Spain, which has reported 1, 136,503 cases since the outset, 35, 466 deaths and about 150, 376 recoveries, leaving Spain with 950, 661 active cases of Coronavirus(19, 765 new cases).
Argentina is the 7th country worst hit by the virus, reporting 1, 116,609 confirmations, 29, 730 deaths, while 921, 344 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Argentina with 165, 535 patients hoping for the best to keep living(14, 308 new cases) and Colombia with 1, 033, 218 confirmed cases, 30, 565 deaths and 932, 882 recoveries, leaving Colombia with 69, 771 active cases of Coronavirus(8, 483 new cases) and the United Kingdom which has documented 945, 367 confirmed cases, 45, 765 deaths, while only 2, 734 patients have recovered and discharged, leaving the United Kingdom with 896, 868 current cases of Coronavirus(24, 706 new cases).
Mexico has come up as the 10th country worst hit with 901, 268 confirmed cases, 89, 814 deaths and 763, 105 recoveries, leaving Mexico with 75, 349 active cases of Coronavirus(5, 942 new cases), and South Africa in number 12 after documenting 719, 714 all time cases, 19, 111 deaths and 648, 654 recoveries, leaving South Africa with 51, 949 active cases(1, 863 new cases) and Italy coming next as the most afflicted country.

Italy has reported 589, 766 confirmed cases, 37, 905 deaths, while 275, 404 others have been treated and discharged, leaving Italy with 276, 457 active cases of Coronavirus (24, 988 new cases) and China now 53rd country most hit with 91, 224 all time cases, 4, 739 deaths and 86, 041 recoveries, leaving China with 444 cases of Coronavirus.
