UMUAHIA, Abia, Nigeria – The Founder of Gregory University Uturu, Abia State Prof. Gregory Ibe (Enyi Abia), has congratulated Rt. Hon Alwell Asiforo Okere on his emergent as Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Abia State.
Prof. Ibe in a statement, he personally signed described Hon Alwell Asiforo Okere’s emergent as a well deserved victory and right choice to the party.
Ibe said , “Sequel to your overwhelming victory and subsequent emergence as the state Chairman of our great party, I hereby write to convey hearty congratulations to you and the newly elected members of the State Executive Committee.
“With hindsight of your political pedigree and knowledge of your endowed capacity in Human Resource Management, which manifested during your helmsman ship of the 5th Abia State House of Assembly, I am convinced that your leadership will definitely engender peace, harmony and progress within the party in particular and the entire state by extension.
“I therefore urge you to leverage the solid foundations laid by the founding fathers of our party in ensuring that PDP not only remains the dominant political party in Abia State, but also emerges as a trusted stimulant of enduring development in Gods own State.
“As you commence this crucial task, do count on my unalloyed support and sustained collaboration, as we all partner to make Abia truly great”, he said.
