You are not chairman of APC, Appeal Court tells Oshiomhole
ABUJA, Nigeria – Appeal Court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory on Tuesday evening upheld suspension of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
In a unanimous judgment delivered late into the evening by Justice Mohammed Lamido, the 3-man panel, upheld judgment of the Federal High Court, stressing that the appeal by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole lacked merit.
In March earlier this year, a Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Danlami Senchi ruled that Oshiomhole could no longer function as the APC National Chairman having been suspended by his ward in Edo State.
Justice Senchi had granted the order following an application for an interlocutory injunction brought to court by six plaintiffs, led by one Mustapha Salihu, filed through their lawyer, Mr. Oluwole Afolabi, praying the court to remove Oshiomhole as chairman of the party.

They averred that Oshiomhole was suspended as a member of the party from his Etsako ward 10, in Edo State.
According to the plaintiffs, since his suspension remained extant, his rights as a member of the party are currently abated, and could therefore not continue to head the APC as its Chairman.
Justice Senchi consequently, ordered Oshiomhole to stop parading himself as the National Chairman of the APC
