Edo ward lifts suspension on Adams Oshiomhole
ABUJA, Nigeria – The Estako Ward 10 of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) in Estako West Local Government of Edo State has lifted the suspension on National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
Secretary of the ward, Mr. Emuakemeh Sule who addressed a press conference in Abuja, said the suspension was lifted following a resolution by the ward of the party.
According to him, 17 members out of 26 members of Ward 10 signed the resolution lifting the suspension on Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
With suspension out of the way, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole may as well be on the way to reclaim chairmanship of the party. Oshiomhole was suspended following his confrontation with Governor Godwin Obaseki, who has now left for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
But he may have to wait for at least two weeks for the order of Justice S.U Bature of an Abuja High Court which extended the tenure of Chief Victor Giadom for another two weeks.
