Coronavirus: 93 die in Nigeria, 2803 cases as 251, 059 die worldwide
LAGOS, Nigeria – The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 245 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing it to a total of 2,803 cases in Nigeria.
Out of the 2, 803 cases, 417 have recovered and subsequently discharged while 93 people could not make it alive.
But from the 245 new cases, 76 cases were discovered in Lagos, 37 in Katsina, 32 in Jigawa, 23 in Kano, 19 in Abuja, 18 in Borno, 10 in Edo, 9 in Bauchi, 6 in Adamawa, 5 in Oyo, 5 in Ogun, 1 in Ekiti, 1 in Osun, 1 in Benue, 1 in Niger and 1 in Zamfara State.

Globally, there are currently 3, 578, 301 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, while 251, 059 patients have died based on statistics from the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering, John Hopkins University, Maryland.
Meanwhile, the United States has continued to take the lead among the most affected countries in the world in terms of population affected and the total number deaths.
So far, the United States has reported 1, 178, 906 confirmed cases of Coronavirus, while 68, 689 patients have died, followed by Spain which has reported 218,011 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus pandemic, while 25, 428 patients have died.
Next is Italy, which has reported 211, 938 confirmed cases with 29, 079 deaths followed by United Kingdom which currently has 191, 832 confirmed cases with 28,809 deaths based on statistics from John Hopkins University.
