OJO, Lagos, Nigeria – Renowned Minister of God and Philanthropist, Rev. Mother Abimbola Esther Ajayi, has pledged to donate a Lecture Theatre to the Lagos State University.
She made the pledge on Tuesday, 3rd March, 2020 at a Capacity Building Programme organized by EduBox Global and Heads-Up Limited, in conjunction with the National Association of Nigerian Students,[NANS] Zone D, where she was the Guest Speaker.

The event tagged “Digital Jobs and Business Incubation for Youth Across Africa”, took place at the 3-in-1 Building, Faculty of Education, Main Campus, Ojo, and was attended by members of the University Management led by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Olanrewaju Adigun Fagbohun, SAN, NPOM, with popular Nollywood actor, Adeniyi Johnson, as one of the speakers.
Rev. Mother Abimbola Ajayi made the pledge to donate a World Class Lecture Theatre, in response to the request by the NANS Zone D Coordinator, Comrade Samuel Kappo for a bus and a Lecture Theatre.

“I already told the VC to give a list of three things that the University wants, but since the Coordinator has requested for a Lecture Theatre, it is done”, she announced to the delight of the organizers and hundreds of students who had turned out to see and listen to her. She went on to speak on the benefits of embracing and utilizing Information Technology in today’s world.
“Take advantage of IT to provide solutions for yourselves and your country; don’t wait for the government. The government cannot do it all alone. You can make loads of money, right in your house doing business online”, Rev. Mother Abimbola Esther Ajayi said,

While welcoming the London, UK based Evangelist, Professor Fagbohun, praised Rev. Mother Ajayi for investing her resources in touching lives. “Why will God not continue to bless you when you are a blessing to all these wonderful world-class students? You will continue to move from glory to glory and wealth to wealth.”
The Vice Chancellor assured the philanthropist that her investment in the University will endure forever: “Our students are amazing. They have redefined the narrative of our University. We are the University to beat. Any investment you make in this University can never be wasted. It will endure forever.”
The Convener of the programme, Tosin Sanusi in his speech noted that the programme was aimed at empowering the students to take hold of their future through education.
He challenged the participants to look beyond their excuses in order to make it in life.
