Nigeria confirms fresh 20 cases as COVID-19 cases hit 715, 660 worldwide
LAGOS, Nigeria -The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has confirmed 20 fresh cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 131, with two deaths so far.
According to NCDC, out of the twenty fresh cases discovered March 30, 2020, 13 were found in Lagos, four in Abuja, two in Kaduna and one in Oyo State, making a total of 20 cases.
“Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 13 in Lagos, 4 in FCT, 2 in Kaduna and 1 in Oyo State As at 09:00 pm 30th March there are 131 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 2 deaths”, the NCDC said.
Nigeria climed to 131 just as total number of confirmed cases reach an all time high of 715, 660, with death toll currently standing at 33,579 wordwide.

The United States which has the highest rate of confirmed cases now reports 143, 025 with 2, 509 deaths. Italy now has 97,689 confirmed cases with 10,781 deaths, while China now has 82, 463 confirmed cases with 3,311 deaths. Spain now has 78, 797 confirm cases of COVID-19 with 6528 deaths.
