ABUJA, Nigeria – The Presidency may have concluded plans to fly Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari who has tested positive to the COVID-19 pandemic to Lagos believed to have the best medical care for the pandemic for now.

While arrangement is being made for the Chief of Staff, we gathered that the Intensive Care Unit of the Presidential Villa has been activated as President Buhari who is believed to have had contact with Abba Kyari goes into self-isolation, even as one of the ventilaros at the Specialist Hospital in Gwagwalada is alleged to have found its way into Aso Rock.

President Buhari has rarely been seen in the public since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic and calls for him to address the nation the way presidents of other nations have done have fallen on deaf ears.

Now there are allegations that one of the two ventilators at the Gwagwalada Special Hospital, Abuja has disappeared, with speculation that it has made it way into the Presidential Villa.

Reno Omokri, aide to Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, former President of Nigeria has called on Nigerian journalists to investigate who the ventilator that made its way into Aso Rock is meant for.

Omokri said his source doctor at Specialist Hospital Abuja told him that one of the two ventilors was ordered and moved and he is wondering who the ventilator is meant for at Aso Rock since Abba Kyari is being moved to Lagos for treatement.

This is taking place at a time that the most vibrant media outfits covering the Presidential villa have been disacredited. Punch Newspaper, which has been very dogged in reporting the villa has been removed.

Apart from The Sun reporter, reporters from other vibrant newspapers were also barred, only their photographers were allowed. The villa allowed photographers from Thisday, Leadership, Daily Trust, Guardian and Vanguard. There reporters were excluded from this COVID-19 accreditation by the Villa.

Only the Chairman, State HousePress Corps and reporters from government outfit like NTA crew, FRCN, VON and NAN were accredited. The rest are from TVC and Channels who are seen to be on the side of government.
