Nollywood filmmaker, Helen Ukpabio buries father in Mbente

MBENTE, INI, Imo, Nigeria -Mbente Village in Ini Local Government will be a Mecca of sort tommorrow Saturday when Nollywood filmmaker, Lady Apostle Helen Ukpabio will bury her late father, Chief Essesien Akpabio.
Earlier today, Service of songs was held for him in his compound at Mbente. But tomorrow, Saturday, the funeral service will be held in the same compound in Mbente, followed by interment in the same compound.
Already preparation is in top gear as the building and the compound have been given a facelift.
“Everything is ready . The stage is set. My father will be laid to rest on Saturday 23rd of November in Mbente Village, Ini Local Government Area. Service of songs holds on Friday, 22nd November”, Lady Apostle Helen Ukpabio said on the social media after uploading photograph of her father’s building.
Helen Ukpabio has made dozens of films. Among them are Echoes of the Ancestors, Magic Money, Rapture 2 and Highway to the Grave. Her production outfit is Liberty Films.
Multi-talented Ukpabio is also a musician. So far she has released one single, Freedom, featuring James Edikan.
