LAGOS, Nigeria – Super Eagles forward, Isaac Promise is dead. It is not clear what would have led to his death. But the Nigerian Football Federation(NFF), who announced the development said it is sad to hear of the demise of the footballer.
Isaac Promise was the captain of the Beijing Olympic eagles that won silver medal in Beijing, China.
“We are sad to hear of the sudden demise of former @NGSuperEagles forward, Isaac Promise. Promise was captain of the Beijing Olympics’ Eagles squad that won silver.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. May his soul Rest In Peace, Amen”, the NFF said.
Isaac Promise collapsed in apartment gym after going through rigorous exercise and died.
