EFCC arraigns man for using unauthorised ATM card to withdraw N800k

MAKURDI, Benue, Nigeria – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC), Makurdi zone today arraigned one Akintunde Ogunride better known as Kekere on one count charge of intent to defraud one Ademola Adewuyi.

Akintunde Ogunrinde who was arraigned before Justice Mobolaji Olawjuwon of a Federal High Court, Makurdi, Benue pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Ogunrinde was alleged to have used an ATM card belonging to one Ademola Adewuyi to withdraw the sum of N800,000 from an ATM machine belonging to a first generation bank.

JusticeOlajuwon remanded him in prison custody pending the perfection of his bail conditions and adjourned the case to November 21, 2019 for trial.
