LAGOS, Nigeria – American embassy has honoured King of Kannywood, Ali Nuhu, with the icon of Nigerian Star.
Ali Nuhu, actor and producer is a trail blaizer in the Hausa genre and has produced numerous films through his company, FKD Production.
Ali Nuhu has mentored many, creating jobs for many who now earn a living from the film industry while bridging the gap between Kannywood and Nollywood.
He also works with Kannywood directors and producers to improve the quality of Hausa movies. He is currently evolving and infusing social issues into his act of storytelling (film).
Ali Niuhu has won many awards both local and international.
