CALIFORNIA, United States – Hollywood Icon, Doris Day is dead. She was 97. Doris Day who is a singer, actress, dancer and animal activist died this morning in California, United States. The Hollywood icon died after contracting a serious case of pneumonia.
In preparation to mark her 97 birthday, the actress shared her birthday portrait of herself aging gracefully. While marking her birthday, her colleagues in the film industry commented on the person of the actress who was born in 1922.
“There’s no other person in my life that’s been more influential in shaping who I am as a person than Doris Day. I’m sure so many of you can relate to that sentiment.
“Happy 97th Birthday to this singer, actress, dancer, animal activist, mother, and all around loving human. Sending so much love to Doris today on her Birthday”, one of her friends said.
While the Themoonlessgoddess described her as a bona fide Hollywood star. “Old school glamour. Love her films. So witty and classy. Calamity Jane being my fave”, she said.
