LAGOS, Nigeria – Governorship candidates of the Alliance for Democracy(AD) Owolabi Salis and that of the Labour Party(LP) Prof. Ifagbemi Awamaridi are heading to the Federal High Court to seek a restraining order stopping governor elect, Babajide Sanwo-Olu from being sworn in as governor of Lagos State.

The two candidates of their party, who are already at the tribunal are also seeking the disqualification of the governor-elect from being sworn-in as governor on the basis that he is not mentally sound to occupy the office.

Besides, they averred that Sanwo-Olu was convicted in the United States for spending fake US Dollars.
