Seun Kuti begs Atlanta fans after missing flight
ATLANTA, United States – Seun Kuti, son of the late Afrobeat King, Fela Anikulapo Kuti is feeling very bad for his inability to attend rehearsal and perform in San Francisco. He was billed to perform on 7th and 8th February, 2019.
He said he could not make the show because he missed his flight due to ticket mix-up, which he tagged the worst in history.
“First and foremost I have to say I am sorry to all the fans that tuned in to see us perform yesterday but didn’t. I had the weirdest ticket mix up in history meaning I missed my flight and the rehearsals and we couldn’t go on”, he said.
He however thanked the Soweto Gospel Choir for holding on in his absence.
“@bigbirdkutiFirst and foremost I have to say I am sorry to all the fans that tuned in to see us perform yesterday but didn’t. I had the weirdest ticket mix up in history meaning I missed my flight and the rehearsals and we couldn’t go on.
