ABUJA, Nigeria –Chairman, Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC), Professor Mahmood Yakubu today declared President Muhammadu Buhari as winner of the 2019 Presidential election.
According to him, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress(APC) scored 15, 191, 847 to defeat Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), who scored 11, 262, 978.
“That Mohammed Buhari of the APC, having satisfied the requirement of the law and scored the highest number of votes is hereby declared the winner of and is declared the winner and returned elected. #NigeriaDecides2019 Result”, Yakubu declared.
