EFCC arraigns 5 people for internet fraud

The five suspects arraigned in Kwara State

ILORIN, Kwara, Nigeria – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ilorin Zonal Office has arraigned five people who specialise in internet fraud in Ilorin, Kwara State.

Those arraigned are Abolarin Kayode, Abdullahi Salihu, Abdulahi Ibrahim, Ogundele Adeseye and Oluwayomi Kadri.

They were arraigned before Justice Babagana Ashigar of a Federal High Court, Ilorin, Kwara State, on February 20, 2019.

They pleaded “not guilty” to the charges. Justice Ashigar, thereafter, adjourned the trial of Abolarin and Salihu to March 19, 2019; the trial of Ibrahim, Ogundele and Kadri, to March 20, 26 and 27, 2019 respectively.
