WASHINGTON, United States – The shutdown of government in the United States is having serious impact on workers, with many having to live without pay, thanks to President Donald Trump, who is insisting that congress must consider his request to build a wall over Mexico to secure Americans before government would open.
Among those affected is Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has decided to use this free period to visit the kitchen to assist chef Jose Andres and Chef for Fed team to serve food to federal workers who have been forced to go without pay during this shutdown.
Speaker Nancy Pelosy who won admiration of the workers for her service said roughly about 800,000 workers are about to miss their second paycheck this week.
