Plot to frame up Atiku for gun running thickens, says PDP
ABUJA, Nigeria – The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization (PPCO) alerted of plots by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to allegedly frame up the PDP Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and heap allegations of gun running on him.
According to the PPCO, intelligence shows that agents of the APC have already perfected plots to brand some vehicle with Atiku Abubakar campaign colours, laden them with arms and ammunition and take them to Atiku Abubakar’s home in Abuja and Adamawa, where conniving security agents will pounce on them to embarrass our candidate on trumped up charges of gun running.
“The PPCO condemns the plot in totality and urge Nigerians to note that APC has become frenetic and increasingly vicious in its desperation to smear our candidate ahead of the 2019 Presidential election.
“We therefore call on all Nigerians to be at alert and continue to be wary of the malicious activities of the APC and the Buhari Presidency, who, in the despondency of their imminent and inevitable defeat at the Presidential poll, have sold their souls to mischief”, Director Media and Publicity, PDP Presidential Campaign Organization, Kola Ologhondiyan said.
The PPCO said Nigerians now know who to hold responsible should any harm befall Atiku Abubakar, who they have attained a consensus to vote in, as the next President of our country, come February, 2019.
