LAGOS, Nigeria – Celebrated radio Disc Jockey, Daddy Freeze who has turned a social crusader against the doctrine of thithes has challenged General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God(RCCG), Dr. Enoch Adeboye over new campaign posters currently on RCCG premises that tend to criminalise those who are averse to payment of thithes.

RCCG had on the advert poster depicted a hardened robber armed with a gun with the scriptural reference: “Don’t be a robber, pay your thithes – Malachi 3: 8 – 10.

Reacting to the development, the social crusader, Daddy Freeze challenged the GO for not living by the tenets of Jesus Christ, whom he claims to represent, and called for explanation what the RCCG is doing with the poster when people generally believe that pastors don’t force members to pay thithes at gun point

Besides, he argued that Jesus Christ never collected thithes neither did his disciples. He restated his challenged to the GO for a public debate, even if it will take over a bottle of bear.

“And they say Pastors don’t hold guns to members head. Some one please explain what RCCG is doing with this picture.
tithe is a false doctrine for Christianity, I have proven this scripturally several times! Christ never collected tithes, neither did his disciples. I have challenged their G.O Enoch Adeboye to a debate on this several times to no avail. If he doesn’t want a debate, we can sit over a bear to discuss the scripture and I can offer to teach him the real truth about Christ for free- Daddy Freeze
