WOMAN BOILS OVER PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME, FEMI ADENUGA OF CHRIST EMBASSY
IKEJA, Lagos, Nigeria – A former member of Christ Embassy, (Holland), Mrs. Abigail Tega Ucheku(34) is now in the street of Lagos crying out for justice. She is appealing to President Muhammadu Buhari and the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode to grant her justice.
Abigail Ucheku who was at the Ikeja High Court Lagos to protest against what she called injustice allegedly in the hands of the General Overseer of the church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and the pastor in Holland, Pastor Femi Adenuga said she was a victim of human trafficking and that she left the church in Holland when she was frustrated in her efforts to expose her involvement in drug abuse, prostitution and human trafficking.
She told our correspondent that Christ Embassy not only condones the behaviour but that it is actively involved in the act. She told our correspondent that each time she gets up to speak about it, members including the pastor would make jest of her, wondering why she is doing born again after coming to Holland. She said that her ordeal began during a women programme when she came out to read a letter condemning drug abuse, prostitution and human trafficking which she said the church condones.
“As I started reading the letter, half way I was stopped… and they said that next time I will be called. That next time never came”, she told our correspondent, adding that when she got frustrated she left. Besides, she was angry that the church made a video of her incident, showing her reaching out to touch one of the pastors and that nobody should listen to her, telling those who care to listen that she was mad, and that she is not in her senses.
She alleged that Adenuga used his influence to arrest her in Mali, fed her with cocaine and got her detained but that she was released when the Malian police found out the truth. We reached out to the church but their response was not available as at the time of publishing this story. Watch her video interview on youtube: Chris Oyakhilome in human trafficking and prostitution
This is the message we sent to Chris Oyakhilome via Christ Embassy
Good evening sir,
I am the editor of Starconnectmedia.com, an online newspaper.
We had interview with Otega, a 32 year old lady during her protest in Ikeja, Lagos. She alleged that she was abused by your church in Holland. She alleged that you and your church were involved in human trafficking and prostitution and that she was a victim of this act in your church.
She told us that she was asked to leave when she stood up to write and speak up against the development and that since then she was abandoned and she has lost all she had. She is crying for justice
We write to request your reaction to her story which we hope to publish in the next 24 hours.
Yours faithfully
Emmanuel Ukudolo
