LAGOS, Nigeria – Veteran broadcaster, Ruth Benamaisia-Opia who has long disappeared from the television screen is back. This time, she is working as a newscaster with Lagos Television Authority(LTV 8).
The lively newscasters that brings cheers to viewers with her lovely smile joined LTV 8 in April, after retiring from the Nigerian Television Authority, (NTA). She is not the only newscaster that has returned to the screen after leaving NTA.
Her colleague in NTA, Bimbo Oloyede, who left NTA long time ago has also joined Channels as a newscaster. Her recruitment will certainly help in the quest to reposition LTV broadcasting at the weekend as LWT return to lost glory.
