SOKOTO, Nigeria – The governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aminu Tambuwal has resigned his membership of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) and pitched tenth with the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP). PDP announced the development on Tweeter.
“Breaking News! The Executive Governor of Sokoto State and former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal @AWTambuwal has also dumped the failed and dysfunctional @APCNigeria and has returned to the @OfficialPDPNig. We welcome him back home”, the party said.
Reacting to the development, former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode said he is glad to have his friend back in the party.
He added that Tambuwal has returned to the land of the living. He described him as a young, vibrant, pragmatic, dynamic and inspiring leader who has much to offer.
“Glad that my friend and brother,Gov. Aminu Tambuwal,has left the Association of Pedophiles and Coprophiliacs (APC) and returned to the land of the living. He is a young, strong, vibrant, pragmatic,dynamic and inspiring leader who has much to offer. We are blessed to have him back!”, he said.
Also speaking, Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose said, “My friend and brother, Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, welcome back to the @OfficialPDPNig.More still coming. Together we must rescue Nigeria from these tyrants.
“Good to hear that three prominent Nigerians left APC house of tyranny today.
I welcome my brother and friend, Senator Bukola Saraki and Kwara Governor, Alhaji Ahmed to out great party, the PDP”, he tweeted.
