LAGOS, Nigeria – Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has for the second time dared President Muhammadu Buhari, describing his government as a total failure.
The former president who spoke on Monday, while receiving members of the New Nigeria Group at the Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State said Buhari has failed.
According to him, military training has not at anytime taught any soldier to reinforce failure. As he puts it , failure is failure, adding that what we have now is failure.
“The first lesson I learnt in my military training is never reinforce failure; what we have now is failure. Never you reinforce failure, let failure be failure,” he said.
This is not the first time that Obasanjo has told the President that his government has failed Nigeria. Early this year, Obasanjo adviced President Muhammadu Buhari whose body language indicates he wants to run for a second time never to do so.
He adviced him to retire and join former Presidents as Elder statesman and advice from the fringe.
