ALGIERS, Algeria – Not less than 100 people are feared killed as military plane today crashed in Algeria. According to agency report, the Algerian plane was carrying over 100 military personnel and their families crashed near Boufarik airport.
The Algerie Presse service agency said the Iliouchine-type plane was headed for Bechar in south-western Algeria. So far, emergency services have been dispatched to the site of the crash.
Boufarik is located in northern Algeria, near the Mediterranean sea, some 30 kilometres from the capital, Algiers.
