ECUMENICAL CENTRE: BAYELSA THANKS OSINBAJO, OTHERS FOR MASSIVE SUPPORT
YENEGOA, Nigeria – The Bayelsa State Government has expressed gratitude to all those who graced the commissioning and dedication of the State Ecumenical Center as well as the 2017 Annual Thanksgiving.
The State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson in a statement on Monday, thanked all those who made the event a success.
They include most specially the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), Chaplain of Aso Rock, Seyi Malomo and the General Overseer, Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye.
The government also appreciated Rev. Dr Uma Ukpai, former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and founder of the Warri-based World of Life Bible Church (WLBC), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor.
Also mentioned include the President of CAN, Samson Supo Ayokunle, chairman of CAN (South South zone), Goddowell Avwomakpa, President of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Rev. Felix Omobude and the founder of Royal House of Grace, Apostle Prince David Zilly Agreey.
The statement also appreciated Pastor Dotimi Amatare, the leadership and members of CAN and PFN in the state, all the clergies who came from within and outside the state as well as members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God family.
The government equally thanked members of the National and State Assembly, Traditional Rulers, Chiefs, Opinion leaders, Critical Stakeholders, the various women and youth groups, especially the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) and security agencies.
Iworiso-Markson who extended the appreciation to the different choir groups, including the King of Glory choir, gospel artistes led by the veteran American, Ron Kenoly and Bayelsans in general prayed God to continue to bless and honour them all.
He noted that Governor Seriake Dickson was deeply touched by their show of love and support which has made his resolve to better the lives of his people even more stronger.
