BARCELONA FC SLAMS NYEMAR WITH €222 MILLION FINE
BARCELONA – Spanish football club, Barcelona has insisted that Brazilian striker, Nyemar da Silva Santos Junior, better known as Nyemar must pay the club a whopping sum of €222 million in full before he will be allowed to leave the club.
The club issued the statement during a meeting with Nyemar and his representatives at the club office in Spain, during which the striker informed the club that he is leaving the club.
It is not clear where the striker is heading, but there are speculation that he is heading to PSG for $256 million.
Barcelona however said after the meeting that it referred Nyemar to termination clause of his currents contract, which from July 1, stood at €222 million and that it will have to be paid in full.
“Nyemar accompanied by hs farher and representative has informed Barcelona this morning of his decision to leave the club at a meeting held in the club office.
“In view of this position, the club has informed them that it refers to the termination clause of its currents contract, which from July 1, €222 million and that it will have to be paid in full”, the club said.
