ABUJA, Nigeria – President Muhammadu Buhari who was reported to have resumed duties in his office yesterday was today absent at Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting still in progress in Abuja.
As at press time, FEC which kicked off at 11am is being presided over by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
The meeting started with prayers by FCT, Mohammed Bello, and Budget and Planning, Udo Udoma after the national anthem.
On Tuesday, Buhari met with the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, and the Group Managing Director of the state oil firm, NNPC, Maikanti Baru.
No reason has been given for absence of the President in FEC.
