JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – Big Brother Naija housemate, Tboss has unveiled the reason behind her singleness at 33. However, marriage came calling when she was 30, just fresh from National Youth Service Corps, NYSC.
She however blew the opportunity when she failed to take the loverboy serious, when he proposed to her just two weeks after the first meeting.
She was then really pretty, with enticing skin just the type any guy would want to hug and kiss. The guy on the other hand was a handsome Hausa boy, a PhD holder at 27, her kind of guy except that she failed to take him serious.
Tboss who was having late discussion with Ese, said she met him at NYSC camp when she went to effect correction on her certificate.
“While waiting on the queue, a very fine BMW with two doors, painted white, tinted drove in. When I saw the car, I said this car is very fine but I could not see the driver of the car since it was tinted.
As I was about going, one handsome boy came out of the car. He approached me, exchanged greetings with me and said he wanted to know where to make inquiries about NYSC certificate. I showed him and he said I should wait for him and that he will drop me anywhere I am going.
” That was how I entered the BMW. He has beautiful set of teeth and he hardly laughs but smiles. On the road he tried to impress me with his driving and two weeks later he said he wants to marry me. He said he is ready. He has his PhD and a good job. He said he wanted to settle down and start having his kids. He asked me how old I am, I told him I was 27. I lied because I was already 3 years older than him.
” He said he has started shopping for the marriage. He came to my house and there was no tv. He came the following day with a tv and DSTV and that he wanted to watch his sport in my house. …He even gave me about $7,000. We slept together in the house and the following day, I said I was going to Dubai. He said, we slept in the same house, you did not mention it. I said no need since I was not travelling with him and was not going to use his money. The next thing I traveled and 3 months later when I came back he was already married to my best friend. I really missed him”, she said.
Tboss said she missed her church and that for now she has resulted to reading her Bible.
