ROYAL MALAYSIA POLICE OKAYS POST MORTEM ON KIM CHOL LATE KIM JONG UN BROTHER
KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – The Royal Malasia Police today confirmed the death of North Korean citizen, Kim Jong-Nam in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The RMP however identify him as Kim Chol based on travel document.
In a statement, Inspector General, Royal Malaysia Police, Tan Sri Dato Sri Khalid Bin Abu Bakar said he died on the way to hospital on February 13, 2017.
“The Royal Malaysia Police(RMP) would like to confirm that a 46 year old North Korean male who sought initial medical. assistance at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2, KLIA2 Customer Service Counter has died enroute to hospital on 13, February, 2017.”, he said.
The statement added that based on travel document, the deceased is Kim Chol born June 10, 1970.
It added that a post moterm examination has been made to ascertain the cause of death and that investigation is in progress.
Kim Jong-Nam, now identified as Kim Chol was reportedly poisoned in Kuala Lumpur by two women who fled after the attack.
