LOS ANGELES, United States – John Legend who has won the Grammy for a record 10 times has been named one of the performers at the 59th Grammy Award.

Also nominated among the first round of performers are the 8-time Grammy-winning band Metallica, 7-time Grammy winner and current nominee Carrie Underwood, four-time Grammy winner and current two-time nominee Keith Urban.
Taking place at Staples Center in Los Angeles, the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast live in on the CBS Television Network, Sunday, Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
Metallica’s James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich are nominated for Best Rock Song (“Hardwired”).
Underwood is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance (“Church Bells”). Urban is up for Best Country Album (Ripcord) and Best Country Solo Performance (“Blue Ain’t Your Color”).
