DBANJ RECEIVES BAFFTA ENTERTAINMENT ICON AWARD

London – Multiple award winning Nigerian musician, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo better known as Dbanj has been received the BAFFTA Entertainment Icon Award at the British House of Parliament in Westminster, London.

He was presented the award by Lord John Bird. Reacting to the award on his instagram page, the musician said he is humbled for the unique opportunity to be a beacon of visible hope.




He has won several music awards, including the awards for Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007; Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009;] Best International Act in Africa at the 2011 BET Awards, and Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards
