Nigeria, Oct 21, 2016 – The Governing Council of the Lagos State University(LASU) today sacked thirteen(13) junior staff for stealing and forgery.




Out of the 13 affected staff, 9 were dismissed for falsification of West African Examination Council(WAEC) and National Examination Council(NECO)results, one for Irregularities in November/December 1995 and 1999 WAEC Ordinary Level Results, two for stealing 400 Litres of Automotive Gas Oil [AGO] and one person for abandoning his duty post.

Those dismissed for falsification of results are Mr. JATTO, Matthew Folorunsho.
Senior PatLrolman Security Unit for Falsification of May/June 1982 WAEC Ordinary Level Result; Mrs.IHEUKO, Stella Assistant Chief Clerical Officer Registry for Falsification of May/June1994 WAEC Ordinary Level Result.

Others are Mr. JOHN, Michael Afolabi Clerical Officer Registry for Falsification of May/June 1985 WAEC Ordinary Level Result: Mr. TIAMIYU Hassan Abayomi Patrol Supervisor Security Unit for Falsification of May/June 1997 WAEC Ordinary Level Result: Mr. HUNDEYIN Julius Abiodun Senior Library Assistant, University Library for Falsification of June/July 2000 NECO Ordinary Level Result: Mr. OFOMADU Nnajike E. Patrolman, Security Unit for Falsification of May/June 2004 WAEC Ordinary Level Result: Mr. ADEWUSI, Adedapo Omotholar, Keypunch Operator, Registry for Falsification of May/June 1994 & May/June 1995 WAEC Ordinary Level Results: Miss EMEZA, Funmilayo Orezime, Graphic Attendant, Central Store for Falsification of May/June 1993 WAEC Ordinary Level Result

Mr. KAMORU Hassan Kehinde, Clerical Officer, Registry was dismissed for Irregularities in November/December 1995 and 1999 WAEC Ordinary Level Results.

Those sacked for stealing AGO are Mr. OKUSANYA Olashile T. Artisan, Works & Physical Planning for theft of 200 Litres of Automotive Gas Oil [AGO] and Mr. OLATUNJI Olasunkanmi, Assistant Catering Supervisor Catering Unit for theft of 200 Litres of Automotive Gas Oil [AGO]. Mr.OGUNWALE, Adewale Samuel Keypunch Operator, Registry for Fraudulent Collection of the sum of N123,950.00 from a student, while Miss MATTI, Jemilat Adebisi, Senior Clerical Officer
Registry was dismissed for Abandonment of Duty.

Onowakpo John Ajiri was exonerated.
