What is remaining of the house after the landslide in Ogun State

Nigeria, October 2, 2016 – Lives of some residents in Progressive Estate/ Okeagbe in Ojodu, Ogun State are at risk due to mudslide which has rendered their homes uninhabitable yet they have refused to move out.

The rain which fell on Friday brought down what is left, leaving the house hanging on top of a mountain; with many fearing that another rain would probably lead to loss of lives if the residents fail to move out in the shortest possible time.

The landlords of houses in the area have struggled for years to keep the houses secured by deploying all known engineering tactics to no avail.
