Umuahia, Nigeria, Oct 18, 2016 – Determined to strengthen its Youth Team to continue producing stars for the main team, Abia Warriors Football Club of Umuahia will be organizing a One-week Football Competition for amateur clubs and academies in the country beginning from next week.

The competition, which will hold in Umuahia, will assist the club discover some hidden talents who could be nurtured to stardom.
In a statement, the Management of Abia Warriors urged interested clubs and academies to collect registration forms at the club’s secretariat free and online at www.abiawarriorsfc.com adding that trophy and cash prizes will be awarded to winning teams at the end of the competition.
Speaking on the development, the Chairman of Abia Warriors Football Club, Chief Emeka Inyama said the club is youth oriented and have discovered stars like Chisom Chikatara, Michael Olaha, Chima Uluocha and Shedrack Asiegbu from that platform and hoped that the forthcoming competition will also assist in discovering more talents for its youth and main teams.
