Nigeria, Sept.07, 2016 – Residence of one of Nigeria’s most celebrated Stand-up comedian, Bright Akpocha alias Basketmouth played host to armed robbers early the morning.
We gathered that the robbers visited between the hours of 2am and 4am and held him and his family at gunpoint during the operation.
According Bovi, his colleague, items stolen from the home include Closed Circuit Camera device, CCTV and other valuables.
He said the matter has been reported to the police in Lekki. The comedian who is still in shock can’t be reached for now.
“@basketmouth was robbed this morning in his home in lekki phase 1 between the hours of 2am and 4am, 7th of September 2016. He and his family were held at gun point while the sad episode lasted.
“Nobody was hurt. Valuables were taken including the cctv device. A report has been made at the police station. He can’t be reached at the moment but will be back on as soon as possible’’, Bovi said on his Instagram page.
