Abuja, Sept. 26, 2016 – President Muhammadu Buhari today approved the appointment of Director Generals, Executive Secretaries, Managing Directors and National Commissioners for 13 government agencies.

In a statement, Director of Press in the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Bolaji Adebiyi listed the appointees as follows.

Mr. Joseph Ari was appointed Director General, Industrial Training Fund (ITF) while Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim (Pantami) was appointed Director General National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), while Engineer Simbi Kesiye Wabote was appointed Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Monitoring Board.

Others are Aboloma Osita Anthony, appointed Director General Standard Organization of Nigeria (SON) while Mamman Amadu was named Director General Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).

Others are Barrister Sharon Ikeazor, appointed Executive Secretary, Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) while Princess Akodundo Gloria was named National Coordinator/CEO, New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and Alhaji Ahmed Bobboi was named Executive Secretary Petroleum Equalization Fund (PEF). Umana Okon Umana was appointed Managing Director, Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority while Sa’adiya Faruq was appointed National Commission for Refugees, Migrant and Internally Displaced Persons.

Engineer Usman Abubakar is the new chairman Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) while Dr. Bello Aliyu Gusau is Executive Secretary, Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) while Yewande Sidiku was named Executive Secretary, Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).
