Nigeria, Aug. 29, 2016 – The Lagos State Ministry of Information Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has announced that it will hold its 2016 Public Lecture on Tuesday, August 30, during which a book on “Ambode: Gains of All Inclusive Government”, will be presented to the governor.

The event comes up at the Martinos’ multi-purpose events centre, Plot 1, Otunba Jobi Fele Way, CBD, Alausa, Ikeja by 10:00 am.
Chairman of the Chapel, Adeola Lawal, said the book is a compilation of the achievements of the State Government since inception.
“The book has been packaged to offer readers, rich variety of documented accounts of the giant strides of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode since assumption of office with emphasis on his approach and style of governance that incorporates wide consultation and inclusiveness.”
“The book presentation and public lecture has been planned to showcase and further propagate the all-inclusive policy and programmes of Ambode led administration.”
Lawal explained further that the Vice-Chancellor, Lagos State University (LASU), Professor Olanrewaju Fagbohun is also expected to deliver a paper titled “All Inclusive Governance: Lagos State in Perspective”, as Guest Speaker while the panelists will comprise of Professor Sophie Oluwole, Dr. Bolu Folayan and Mr. Kehinde Joseph.
She noted that the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode will be the Special Guest of Honour at the event, while the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa, Principal Officers and members of the State House of Assembly have been invited to grace the occasion.
The Chairman said other dignitaries expected at the occasion include the Lagos State Head of Service (HOS), Mrs. Olabowale Ademola, Senator Ganiyu Solomon, and Hon. Lateef Raji among others.
