Nigeria, June 10, 2016 – Head Coach of the U-17 National Team, Manu Garba is pained about the nefarious activities of some persons who are alleged to have been demanding money from unsuspecting Nigerians in order to have their wards in the Golden Eaglets.

Garba has therefore, warned Nigerians to be wary of impostors on social platforms such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter amongst others asking for money on his behalf so as to offer their wards chance in the U-17 National Team.

Garba told thenff.com that he has reliably being informed that a certain Attah Aneke and some at large, have been masquerading as officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and have allegedly swindled some people.

“Once again, I want to call on Nigerians especially parents and guardians that I have not asked anybody to recruit players, talk less of asking anybody to collect money on my behalf for the purpose of buying their way into the Golden Eaglets,” he stated.” We are almost two weeks into the screening exercise and anybody who has come around would have seen how transparent the process has been; you don’t have to pay anybody a Kobo to be considered for the Golden Eaglets.”
