WAR IN NIGER DELTA: GOVT. DEPLOYS FIGHTER JETS, GUNBOATS

WE’VE NOT KILLED ANY SOLDIER, NONE OF US WAS ARRESTED

Nigeria, May 31, 2016 – The Niger Delta Avengers has said that contrary to reports in the media none of its members were arrested by the Nigerian Military.

The group made the claim just at the Federal Government has deployed 100 gun boats and 5 fighter jets to the creeks in the Niger Delta to stop further vandalisation of oil installations by the Niger Delta Avengers.

In a statement on tweeter, the group acknowledged that members engaged the military in a fierce battled but that none of its members were arrested. It also said that its men did not kill any soldier, adding that they will be forced to kill if the solders come after them.

“Our attention has been draw to arrest of 10@NDAvengers boys by Nigerian Military. None of our strike team has been arrested. It is a lie.

Nigeria military also lied that NDA kill soldiers. We haven’t engaged in combat with them but if they want us to kill them, let them come after us”, the group said on its official tweeter handle.
