Nigeria, May 28 , 2016 – Niger Delta Avengers earlier today intensified their attacks in the region, blowing up Shell and Agip installations between Brass and Bonny.
In a statement on tweeter, the group said it blew up Nembe 1 , 2 and 3, Brass to Bonny trundling belonging to Shell and Agip.
It said the attack was carried out at about 2:15 am on Saturday, May 28, 2016, adding that something big is about to happen.
Earlier on Friday, the group said it has promoted some within its ranks for exhibiting courageous behaviour to the rank of Brigadier General.
The Nigerian Government has made efforts to pacify the group by holding a stakeholders conference in Abuja with an offer for communities to work with security agencies to protect oil installations in the area.
But the militants rejected the offer, noting that what it wants is nothing but a sovereign state and not contracts.
