Baghdad, March 26, 2016 – At least 30 people are feared killed and several others injured in Baghdad when a suicide bomber gained access into a local stadium where spectators were watching a football match and detonated an explosive.

We gathered that the incident occurred in Iskandariya area in the Iraqi capital on Friday evening. Local media have reported that at least 91 people including the footballers were injured in the blast.
Head of security in Babel Province, Falah al-Khafaji said the blast occurred during an amateur football game in Iskandariya area in the early evening on Friday at the end of an amateur football game.
Photographs of the scene were shared by Iraqis on social media. Fighters of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have claimed responsibility for the attack.
