March 4, 2016 – Nigeria’s urban highlife and R&B crooner, Adekunle Gold has said that ‘Omolade’ currently trending online is not his new single contrary to what is circulating in the social media.

According to him, the said music is a cover to Flavour’s ‘Ada Ada’ and called on his music lovers to ignore the false stories now in circulation. He said he will personally announce any new single through the social media.

The Orente crooner said that the song in contention was recorded in 2013 when he was a member of The Bridge, then a band.

“It has come to my notice that a song titled ‘Omolade’ by The Bridge is circulating online and is being tagged my “new single”. Please disregard this false information”.

“The song is a cover to Flavour’s ‘Ada Ada’ which was recorded in 2013 – three (3) years ago – when I was a member of The Bridge; a boy band.

“Please also note that whenever I have a new song ready for release, I will announce it myself through any of my social media handles. Thank you.”
