UPTOWN FUNK, ANGELIQUE KIDJO WIN AT 58TH GRAMMY AWARDS
US, February 16, 2016 – Renowned singer from Benin Republic, Angelique Kidjo was among the numerous winners at the 58th Grammy held last night at Staples Centre in Los Angeles, US.
She emerged winner in the Best World Music Category. She won the category with her music, Sings, recorded by 429 Records.
However, the most valuable award, Record of the Year was won by Uptown Funk and Mark Ronson Featuring Bruno Mars Jeff Bhasker, Philip Lawrence, Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson.
They won the category with their music, Uptown Special released by RCA Records.
The producers are Josh Blair, Riccardo Damian, Serban Ghenea, Wayne Gordon, John Hanes, Inaam Haq, Boo Mitchell, Charles Moniz and Mark Ronson, while Tom Coyne engineers/mixer and mastering engineer.
