QUEEN ELIZABETH II, THROWS CAUTION TO THE WIND, RIDES ON TRAIN WITH COMMUTERS

Her humility got many commuters talking when she boarded a commuter train with ordinary Britons after her Christmas break from King’s Lynn station in Norfolk to London.

According to Telegraph of London, the humble Queen was escorted by the station manager and boarded at 10.54am. She took her first-class seat five minutes before departure, The Telegraph reported.

The one hour 40-minute journey would have cost her £54.90, the newspaper said.

“It’s an honour to have her use the train service,” Graeme Pratt, the station manager, told the Eastern Daily Press. “I asked her if she enjoyed her stay in Norfolk, to which she said she did.”
