APAPA AMUSEMENT PARK RETURNS, LOADED WITH FUN FOR KIDS

Lagos, Nigeria, February 12, 2016 – Lovers of fun and tourists visiting Nigeria for the first time in the 70s and 80s have fond memories of the Apapa Amusement Park.
It was haven of fun. For parents keen on providing the best of pleasure for kids, especially on holidays, the park was the destination of choice.
But somehow, its fortune nose-dived, leading to closure. But it is back and better, bubbling with fun. Situated at Randle Road, Apapa, the park has no doubt witnessed breathtaking transformation, comparable to what you will find in South Africa, the United Arab Emirate, Europe and America.
Approach to the park, especially from the Surulere axis is easy and free from all encumbrance, courtesy, the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode who has been able to restore sanity to the area. It now takes less than 20 minutes to drive from the National Stadium, Surulere to the park in Apapa.
Within are well laid out car park that could take as much as 100 cars at a time. But as you drive through the cark park, ‘Welcome to Apapa Amusement Park’, which signposts the main entrance gate gives a taste of what is in store for the visitor.
A collection of items, which the kids can readily relate to based on exposure to cartoons dot the landscape, from frogs to dinosaurs and the rest.
There are both outdoor and indoor games to keep the kids occupied for a whole day. For those who go hungry after a thrilling fun, the food vendors situated within the mall becomes very handy.
Besides, the serenity that pervades the environment to go with well dressed security men will no doubt be a source of comfort for those who are very conscious of their security.
