‘NO WARNING FROM TURKEY’ – PILOT

November 25, 2015 – The surviving pilot from the Russian war plane shot down by Turkish forces on the Syrian border has said that contrary to claims by Turkey, there was no prior warning that it was on Turkey airspace before it was shot down.

Turkey miliatry said it issued 10 warning before shoting down the jet. But speaking on Russian televison, Captain Konstantin Murakhtn said the jet did not violate Turkish airspace. “No way”, he said.

Murakhtn was one of the two pilots that ejected from the jet as soon as it was hit in the air.

His co-pilot was said to have been killed by gunfire from rebel forces battling President Bashar al-Assad-led government
