NIGERIA DROPS TO 12TH BEST PLAYING TEAM IN AFRICA

November 6, 2015 – Belgium has been ranked by the Federation of International Football (FIFA) as the best football playing nation. Belgium emerged number 1 after gathering 1440 points to edge out Germany to the second position.

Germany got 1388 points in the latest ranking released by FIFA. Argentina comes behind in the third place with 1383 points. Brazil has been pushed to the 8th position in the latest ranking while Spain is now in number 6.

In the women ranking, US is number one, with 2189 points, followed by Germany with 2115 points while France came behind after gathering 2083 points.

In Africa, the best ranked team is Cote d’ Ivoire, (22) followed by Algeria (26). Ghana is 30 while Nigeria dropped to 59 behind 11 African nations to be the 12 best playing team in Africa.
