One of the soldiers arrested for breaking traffic laws

November 17, 2015 – There was mild drama on Ikorodu road, Lagos on Tuesday when officials of the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTAMA),mobilized heavily on Ikorodu road and succeeded in arresting soldiers and other security forces who have been flouting the Lagos State Traffic laws.

The soldiers and members of the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps (NSDC) were all rounded up by unarmed KASTMA men who were determined to end impunity by enforcing the laws.

Vehicles belonging to the officers were contravened on dedicated corridors of the Bus Rapid Transit scheme(BRT).
The incident caused alot of commotion with attendant traffic build up as many rushed to the scene to witness the drama, a unique one especially coming from unarmed LASTMA men contravening soldiers and other armed security officers.
